By the end of this week, students will be able to:

  • Distinguish between primary and secondary sources and explain the value of each
  • Identify and analyze different types of historical evidence (documents, artifacts, images)
  • Apply chronological thinking to organize historical events on a timeline
  • Demonstrate understanding of the five themes of geography and their connection to history
  • Use historical thinking skills including causation, context, and perspective
